The day-use area bathrooms are terrible. Someone could get sick here. Non-flush toilets... disgusting! Day-trippers PAY to use the park too!! Had to use the campers toilets which is allowed and they are clean. But not everyone knows this is allowed. The camp site areas don't look like they have much privacy. Everyone is so close by.

This provincial park is beautiful. Lake is large and dark, but clear water. The sites are big an very private in the area we stayed. Site 506 was a dream. Access directly to the lake and we were able to launch our canoe directly from the makeshift wooden pallet dock at the back of our campsite.

Lots of great hiking trails. You need a good bug spray for the trails -mosquitoes were bad and family bug spray with low deet did not work in the least.

Sites are clean upon arrival. Facilities were cleaned multiple times a day. Great park for the kids to play on and organized activities throughout the summer by park staff for kids and guided hikes for all. Quiet park.

Otherwise a good beach with benches and areas for rest.

The beaches were nice and not over crowded. Site 51 didn't have much privacy but that was expected. This facilitied were generally clean but the showers were super hot. Park staff were friendly and helpful. It rained hard for 30 minutes when we were there. Since most of the site in our area are lower than the road it retained water and flooded. There is no quiet time at night so if you are going with kids that wake up easily or you yourself are sensitive to nose then you might want to find a site that is radio free or more isolated.

The hiking trails are nothing spectacular. Improper signs and paths are missing halfway. Had to turn back half way because the path was starting to look odd.

When pulling up to our site we were confused on what site was ours so we called over 2 staff members to confirm what site was ours. They came onto the site and showed us where we should set up our trailer. So I confirmed again that we were on the right site and they said yes park your trailer here. Few days go by and some other campers arrived and said we might be on their site. Warden came and confirmed that we were put on the wrong site. Had to pack up our family at 7pm and leave the park.

2-stars only because I had a good time with my party and it's close to Toronto. Good place to fish but you don't have to come to the park for that.

Stayed at many Ontario PP's and I would rate this park 2/5 stars even if this didn't happen.

The equipment rentals office is absolutely slow. Waited for a while and still didn't end up getting a boat. A family in front of me had been waiting for over an hour to rent. Equipment is there but seems like the processes they have to do to rent is slowing them down.

Excellent campsite and very nice beach. We picked our campsite (#484) for it's privacy, and we really enjoyed it. Although the site was walk-in, it was only about 100m from the parking lot, so we were able to just walk back and forth to the car to take stuff and put stuff back. The beach was nice, but had a lot of people. Unfortunately it rained during our time here so we didn't get to do much of anything, but the staff were nice and put up programs to entertain campers.
